 As a freelance coder I have submitted my time at the end of the project and I know it took me 4hrs to complete, but where did all that time actually go? Did I really spend that much time trying to figure that out, or was it the graphics that killed me this time around? Now I can honestly say, using TimeTracker has perfected my time tracking.TimeTracker is designed to do fill the nitch of tracking your time, and down to the level of detail that you want. You can track a 1 task quickly by pressing 1 button, or setup a project where you could have many tasks involved. In the example of creating a website where there is finding a host, creating the graphics, coding the backend, and setting up the dbase it is hard to track down where you are losing time. In this example I found that I wasn’t as proficient in creating a MySQL dbase and it would be cheaper for me to hire a friend to help out with in the end. This is the level of detail that you can have with TimeTracker. Now you have the data in your iPhone, how do you get it out? TimeTracker has even figured that out as well by allowing you to export a .csv file and even allowing you to filter some items out to get what you need. We would highly recommend this product to anyone that is a freelancer, work for yourself, or just want to see where your time went in your day this will be your best friend. |
